MY PASSION FOR QUANTUM THEORIES

I must admit to have developed a true passion for learning all I can find in the internet about both the quantum physics and mechanic theories I can find (very much in the internet, because they both represent the latest research in these fields) what actually drew my attention is the fact that nothing is absolute, because all is very much affected by the observer and this relates wonderfully with my previous post about consciousness because it’s with it that not only we can change reality, but we can affect too experiments in this research.
As a matter of fact I recently realized that plenty of my posts here are connected with other posts I had published many months ago and this proves (like it’s necessary) what my dear son told me what his most important learning from his trip to NC was, or all in this universe is connected.
To say that the original thinker of these quantum theories is Albert Einstein is so obvious that it shouldn’t even be mentioned, but I put below few links too about what the “other genius” Heisenberg who had claimed in his life, or that nothing is ever certain (principle of Uncertainty) that pretty much clarifies what today the quantum mechanics is showing it to be really true, in the sense that – no matter the nature of the experiment – its result (or outcome) is uncertain, simply because it all depends by the one who performs it.
As I always do I post here a good (Youtube) video and few links to websites in support of what I say.

WHAT CONSCIENCE IS

I’ve asked to my philosopher Iacopo to define what conscience is for him – as the atheist he claims to be – and this is what he told me (in the best English I can use):
1) What is consciousness? It’s our ability to understand that "something happens" and, in greater or lesser extent, the ability to understand pretty well "what actually happens".
2) What is self-consciousness? The ability to distinguish between what is happening around us and what happens to us, which are the awareness of being a person with a body that is distinguished from the "rest of the world" and other people in particular.
3) So defined, consciousness and self-consciousness are not things that are transmitted in a conscious way between the generations, are phenomena that emerge from the physical structure and in particular from the brain, which has been refined through the natural selection of species.
4) What we hand down our culture that condenses the experience of the generations that have gone before us and allows better use and develop our consciousness, meaning the ability to understand and interpret correctly what happens to us and to act in more appropriate in the circumstances. In this sense, our collective knowledge amplifies our individual consciousness.
5) The most amazing thing of our world is that in nature have appeared living beings, i.e. beings can manifest a behavior that reacts to external stimuli in order to increase the chances to preserve itself, and that can replicate in a fairly faithful but open to the possibility of random changes. The first living beings had to be unicellular but even with these characteristics.
6) Random changes normally prevent the individual to survive and reproduce, but exceptionally may instead help him and increase his or her chances of reproducing, transmitting positive mutations to the next generation. In this way, the positive changes, although they are a small minority, continue to accumulate through the generations, while the majority of adverse changes disappear quickly.  And this goes from bacteria to humans.
7) The development of a brain capable of producing a consciousness is part of this continuous accumulation of constructive changes. The emergence of self-consciousness gave to mankind the crucial tool to control nature and be able to change the environment to suit its needs. The accumulation of technical information represents our cultural baggage that we transmit through generations.
8) Unfortunately, our instinct to conquer and exploit nature is suitable for us to survive in the struggle of the selection of species, but it cannot survive in a world that is now overcrowded and with limited resources as it is ours. Adapt to this new state of affairs, requires intelligence and a firmness which contrast with our primal instinct. The most difficult test for our survival is to be able to have our rationality prevail over our instinct. Not a test that gives an outcome to be taken for granted.
I truly believe that our future leaders will have to be able to manage the social outcome of decisions that will have to be made to ensure the survival of our kind in such a world rapidly extinguishing its resources, I guess that we best give a very high education to our children to ensure the survival of human kind (already existent since few millions of years).

I truly believe that I’ll be walking my princess to the altar when she’ll get married.... you are what you and your consciousness think to be.

MORE LEARNINGS FROM THE MERU DOCUMENTARY

I must have watched the MERU documentary at least 5 times before Brent came to pick it up very much because it inspired my sense of adventure and taught me that (again) nothing is impossible.
In fact one of the climbers in the team had a skiing accident few months before the climbing expedition that put a triangular hole on the top of his skull plus he broke few vertebras in his neck that did severe one artery that brings fresh, oxygenated blood to the brain – talk about TBI!! – this climber spent some time in the hospital and left it wearing a plastic cast around his neck, all his doctors told him that he could never climb again, the high altitude could make a blood clot detach and block the passage of fresh blood in the artery that brings fresh blood to his brain, you can see in this documentary how hard this climber starts a physical training on his own to be prepared for the next attempt to reach the top of MERU and seeing him working so much and so hard truly inspired me to do the same – after all I’ve always been a true athlete in swimming (not in climbing) – therefore I did – as usual – my research about benefits that TBI victims may have from physical work.
What I found is truly encouraging (see links below) and since I’m few feet away from the gym where I’m imprisoned, I intend to start going there daily, simply because what we believe with our mind and consciousness surely becomes real (upcoming post on this).
Given that my only real disability is physical (NOT cognitive) I have no doubt not only that when I’ll finally be assessed by an honest (NOT influenced by a 3rd party) neuropsychologist. Not only I’ll become free from conservatorship, but I’ll be walking and working again.
This means that my 2 treasures will return under my protective and immensely strong wing of care and protection while I’ll have at my side a “mother figurefrom Italy who’ll help me put it all in balance again.

PHYSICAL EXERCISE

I used to be an almost Olympic level swimmer who to keep my body trained at maximum level I used to Jog (basically run) for 2 hours twice a week and ride my Cannondale road racing bike the other 3 days of the week, of course this was if I wasn’t able to swim in a pool convenient (=close) enough for me to go to.
This means that I’ve never been scared to work my body hard, therefore the fact that I learned that physical exercise is good for TBI recovery with the gym of the Villa being pretty much next door to my room, excited me very much, therefore I put here links in support of what I’m saying and I tell that very soon I’m going to start going there to exercise as much as I can, simply because my goal is to go to Verona in August 2017 with my princess to have her get to know the rest of her family living across the Atlantic and maybe even my mother (her nonna) who asks me of my princess every single day when she calls me, what both makes me very proud and increases my tender love for my beautiful girl (if possible) is that she remembers to speak in Italian very well, in fact the other day she called her nonna by phone and talked with my mother for several minutes, making my mother walk 3 feet from the floor for the rest of the day.

MY “OTHER” LOVE

Aside from my intense love for the mother of my treasures, I must admit that my other very big love has been always my great love for my job (all my past ones too) and my always improving career, what I decided to do now is to list my jobs (in order of time) and mix it all up with the relationship with my wife Michele (my trophy wife) for the simple fact that when I married her, my work career started (you can look at my past post about my career)=
 http://lingiaca.blogspot.com/2009/03/without-writing-resume-im-going-to-give.html
1.    Stanadyne: my dad was the CEO of this company based in Bologna that was the supplier of several types of hydraulic shafts for the company named Landini, part of the Massey Ferguson corp. for several years, I was the sales manager under S. Santilano – former professor of physics at the university in Palermo and who used to smoke at least 200 Marlboro 100’s in his office all day and used to tell me that he wouldn’t get out of bed every morning if he hadn’t smoked at least 4 cigarettes. Michele and I lived in a villa owned by the company owner that was on a nearby hill and we had as neighbor another salesman who used to be an important salesman for the gun-company Beretta and who had plenty stories about travelling to north Africa to sell weapons that had to be tested by shooting at targets of different kinds (not people, luckily). However I really wanted to work in my mother town, Verona and kept trying to do so with the help of plenty of my friends in that town, luckily I was put in touch with the CEO of W.L. Gore & Associates in Italy (based in Verona) and got hired very quickly as sales specialist in the footwear division that had me travel almost daily to the town of Montebelluna (not very far) where I would visit the plenty footwear companies (mostly hiking boots producers) based in that area together with the product specialist named Plinio who became a very good friend of mine. (left a big disappointment when I left, I had been chosen already to take the place of the top sales guy Santilano and my dad felt like I had left him too)
2.   W.L. Gore & Associates: this is the company where I worked at for the longest time and gifted me with my relocation to MD in the USA where I was in charge – in the footwear division – to help the distributors of Italian footwear companies (mostly hiking boots producers) be very effective in their marketing and distribution efforts.

  1. 3.   GEOX As their VP of sales for this nation I built from scratch the distribution countrywide with Nordstrom as primary account, plus I opened the first 2 retail stores in the New York and PA area. (I was becoming too powerful in this company and my insistence in being positioned as the president of GEOX USA had me fired almost overnight)
  2. 4. TECNICA (ski boots company) My issue here was mostly the fact that we were living in the middle of wilderness, our neighbors were bears and elks plus we were under 4 feet of snow 4 months each year, therefore given that every time I was in CA I felt almost 80 degrees of difference, I was looking for a job in CA. in addition the fact that Michele was born in this State, made the idea to have a new job in this State, I had tried several times to be hired by several different companies, for the most part in the footwear industry what's somehow sad is that when I gave my resignations to both the owner of Tecnica and to the CEO of Tecnica USA I was told that I had been chosen already to take the place (of the soon resigningCEO of Tecnica USA, the owner of the mother company got so mad that he walked out of the hotel room where I announced my plans that he walked out mumbling that he felt it best to leave rather than "offend God".  (I represented a very big disappointment for this subsidiary too, they've been going through several CEO'S already, but none good enough to keep this position for more than one winter season, I strongly believe that the language difference is a very big obstacle in working with the mother company based in Italy)
  3. 5.TEVA (Deckers group) I worked in the position of president for this company in this really magnificent group for only a couple of months because of my bicycle accident with TBI and this fully represents my additional loss, not only because – according to its CEO my cognitive abilities aren’t sufficient to run a company in the stocks market – but very much also because my physical disability doesn’t allow to me to travel extensively around the world.
In addition Michele and I were having marital problems around that time; in fact we were seeing a psychotherapist – under demand of Michele – in the attempt to have me become more understanding of the challenges Michele was facing when dealing with me (the man who always had the simplest and most immediate solution for any problem, no matter the kind).
As a matter of fact during the 2 months I lived in Santa Barbara all by myself, I was becoming very interested in a designer woman who did looked very much like my wife and such interest was (hopefully)  being reciprocated.
It’s truly impossible to guess what could have happened if I wasn’t basically murdered, I just say it because I’m honest.
Truth of this matter is that not only this accident (murder) had me lose my entire family but also my greatest passion in my like = my well paid job at Deckers.

EVE & ORIGINAL SIN

It’s got to be that I’m really very intelligent and very logic because there’s no way that it was through some type of message from the afterlife that I could figure out that the biblical story of Eve who by eating an apple from the forbidden tree could create hell with its demons and established the “original sin” that Jesus taught how to wash it away from our souls with the baptism. This morning – alone as always – I made a brief Google search about the Lucifer name, because I wasn’t sure that it’s the name of the demon that “tempted” Eve to eat an apple from that tree who was turned into a serpent to forever live on the ground eating disgusting animals from there (rats etc...).
Well – as I had imagined – Eve didn’t simply eat an apple from that tree, she spread open her legs to Lucifer and all of a sudden it all makes sense now.
Why would every newborn have to be baptized to wash away the sin of eating an apple? And why was it Eve who did that? Why not Adam? It’s very obviously that's a 50/50 choice, given that Adam and Eve were the first two people in heaven at that time, so I was wondering if there could be any other reason to explain why Eve was the one.

But now that I know (see links below) that it surely wasn’t just by eating a friggin' apple that the entire humanity got the soul stained with the original sin BUT that it was Eve having sex with Lucifer that gave to humanity all that’s bad and sinful, I feel relieved in some way, not only because I can finally understand the actions of my (still) adored woman, but I can see too why us men have always been hunters and gatherers, therefore when we cheat, we do it to collect a prey to give and receive joy.

IACOPO IS RIGHT

As I think and read my past posts here by myself, I realize that I haven’t been too nice with my good email-friend Iacopo – the atheist philosopher – when talking about the (now current) ideas of a possible afterlife, for the reason (once again) that while they do make sense they are based on the foundation that a God creator doesn’t exist, nor that we people all have a soul that leaves the body when we die.

that the latest scientific research (quantum) has been able to detect the soul when leaving the body at death and it can demonstrate that these minuscule electrical charges are formed by all we experience, learn and love while we live, it seems to me that since “nothing is created and nothing is destroyed” (all is transformed) by Lavoisier, the electrical charges that are our soul – with their information – must go somewhere else, that’s what we now call afterlife where we Catholics believe them to experience the mental reflection of what we loved (if heaven) or hated (if hell) when living here on earth.
Iacopo is right in the following points:
·        The fact that I said to have met with Jesus is simply because I was raised as a Catholic (true because in afterlife we see the mental projection of what’s in our minds)
·        If everyone would understand the real consequences of being bad (= commit sins) the entire world would change overnight
My comment to this last one is what every Catholic individual most probably wishes for this awareness to take place worldwide, however we were gifted by Eve of the free-will that, together with our strong desire to accumulate wealth transforms us in sinners of all kinds, if in addition we consider the immense powers of our minds (soul or consciousness see links below) to create or change/affect reality, I believe that what Iacopo says in his Hypothesis’s with the re-birth of each individual in a more difficult, or painful life is very similar to what we Catholics believe in.
The one detail of Iacopo’s hypothesis that I cannot understand is that he says that we all are always the same individual, no matter the time, the sex or location on earth, according to him I’m basically Hitler, Jesus, Caesar and one of the Jews incinerated in Auschwitz.

GOD IS GRAVITY

The fact that I cannot remember having met Jesus Christ while in a coma (having made the deal with him to return to living earth for the immense love I have for my treasures) and that my own mother told me that it’s impossible that I could have had such meeting, basically put this out of my mind for several months, however my experiences with the cab driver (never met before) who told me of what my daughter is going to do to unite my family again and my participation to a Mass (that never took place) here at the Villa, in addition my big interest in all that concerns afterlife and quantum theories have made me think that maybe I truly did meet Jesus, then if I add to this the fact that I’ve been exchanging emails with the person who I now call my “angel”, who’s a researcher of all that concerns afterlife and told me to hang tight to my idea of truly having met our God creator, has been putting in my head (injured, according to the Oxnard Mengele) the idea that our creator God (or Jehovah) is very real and everyone can see or experience it daily, simply because our creator is the (universal) gravity force.
And here again, I must say that I’m not the only one who comes up with this idea, as you can see in the websites linked below, there have been several great minds (Einstein, Stephen Hawking etc..) who came out with my same idea, therefore I don’t think to be the lonely brain injured man who daydreams such a concept (much more to come about gravity’s effects on our souls).
Take some time to look at what I link here and wait for my next post, with real examples of what gravity means for our souls and why it was Eve who committed the original sin

TIME & ETERNITY

During one of my endless hours browsing the internet (that contains the worldwide knowledge of human kind) I fund something that both put a smile on my sad face and that I consider worth being here: “…if God created everything……..who/what created God?” it’s just like the Italian asking about whether the egg was created before or after the chicken, that’s normally used as a joke whenever in a discussion nobody can figure out both what the subject is, nor what’s wanted to be explained or affirm.
What I want to say is that after we die we are (NOT become) souls and as such, time isn’t measured anymore with the passing of the hours- days – weeks – months – seasons –years and so on, time becomes a continuum without a beginning nor an end, in fact as souls we can see the future at the same time we can see not only our own past, but also the past of millions of years ago and based on what we see we can choose in what part of time we prefer to exist as a soul  (I’m thinking to be existing either when J.S. Bach was composing or when Caesar was ruling Rome as the capital of the world as it was at that time).
This explains very well the reason why – aside from it being painful – it’s very difficult to be “visited” by the soul of an already deceased dear, I mean how could any soul decide to visit anybody on the living earth if it’s both painful and very confusing to precisely choose the earthly time of the “when” to go to?
I put here my usual links to other websites that try to give an explanation of time in the outer-world; I find the Youtube here above a very good explanation of the reason that explains that the galaxies in our universe seem to accelerate in their expansion (not – as I said earlier - because of the existence if parallel universes that have the gravity to attract the galaxies in our) All we have as souls is the NOW (search my post on this) I also want to explain what my dad (Saint Gianfranco) used to tell me all the time, or that we come to the living earth exactly in the way we leave it (die) meaning that we are very lucky not to remember how painful is coming out of our mother, the cut of the umbilical cord and the first breath, we cry for hours sometimes, so why so much surprise if leaving this world by dying we feel pain? The fact that we end like we begin, shouldn’t be surprising at all, mother nature has rules for everyone and everything, you’ll see in my links.

AFTERLIFE

You can find plenty websites that claim and try to prove that afterlife doesn’t exist, it’s just a story made up to eliminate fear of death, well I’m sorry for those who are convinced that death is the end of it all, simply because that’s what will happen when they die, my only unknown is whether or not their conscience can be aware to be in the infinite nothingness.
It’s very interesting that quantum physics (most advanced research in this second millennium) has been able to prove (by measuring electrical impulses generated by our bodies/brains).
All I can say of this, it’s just what I was told by an expert in afterlife, or that a soul is never suspended in infinity doing or feeling nothing, every soul is always in motion, it’s either advancing or regressing, but always changing.
We are now learning more perfect love and forgiveness (love is the highest vibratory rate which we are aware of), or we are kind of slacking off a little bit, forgetting the importance of spiritual growth, kind of getting spiritually flabby. You might think of it as analogous to someone who is trying to build a great set of muscles by going to the gym every day, until he is really looking and feeling good! But when he stops working at it, physical regression starts.
Anyway I realize that this is a somewhat complex subject (wait for my upcoming post about time in eternity!), but I simply invite you (my reader) to go to the links below and read them!

THE POWER OF MY MIND

Granted that the reincarnation of the Nazi Dr. Mengele in Oxnard had assessed me as someone unable to manage my money (or count to 3) my mind (watch video) is still very powerful, as it’s always been (probably even more now that I have nothing to do) Therefore I can say (as supported by the links below) that what I think becomes my reality, well I’d be fearful to be the object of my hate against the ones who’ve been taking advantage of my disabled condition (cannot walk only) simply because my mind is focusing its (mine) power in making it both painful and extremely difficult to keep on living now and in the future (unless…) I know i.e. that Dr. Mengele is already having “a hell of a time” in these days and I can only say that – since he isn’t stupid it would be sufficient to tell to the court that he exaggerated in his assessment on me simply to be safer, given what several other losers has said of me already in the past. I wish it was me to tell to him so, but I have many doubts that he’d listen to me (after all he said that my brain is damaged) so, all I can do is to follow what my current psychologist advises me to do, in order to lower my stress, so I post it here that’s become like an anti-stress medication for me simply because  I can air both my frustrations, dreams and plans for my future, especially because it’s now scientifically proven that reality is what your mind focuses on with intensity.
I guess that by browsing my blog anyone can read and (hopefully) understand all of my plans and dreams, with the certainty that they are going to become soon real.

MY BEST FRIEND

Aside from the fact that my accident had me lose everything I ever loved, worked and was passionate about, what hurts me more than the too many other losses is that I lost my very best friend (Michele) whom I used to talk for several hours each day about pretty much everything i.e.
·        work, our children/treasures
·         their education with their friends
·         ways to spend their free time
·        “important” expenses of something to buy for our home
·        Where to go for the upcoming vacations (mine and our children’s)
·        Clothes to buy for everyone
I must stop my list here because this list would be too long, in other words Michele and I were like one only mind in two different bodies and this is what made our partnership very strong and special.
She truly was my very best friend to the point that not only we used to talk about all that ever came to our minds, but in a way we could somehow read our minds too, or we often would start to say something that we just got in mind and my spouse (Michele) would immediately say “I was just thinking the same”, it was just like both our minds were interconnected, therefore there wasn’t any need to talk to each other, all was already in both of our thoughts without the need to express it with words.
Obviously - since I’m a man and Michele is and will always be a beautiful woman – some differences between us both did exist, but mostly genetic (instinctual) and never got in the way of our perfect connection.
In short one of my biggest and most painful losses is Michele, the very best friend I ever had, who together with my job (work), physical fitness, wealth and connections with friends and family - all over the world – have been making them what made me choose to end my life ASAP.
Truth is that while in the coma, during my NDE I met with Jesus Christ (probably a projection of my beliefs) to agree to survive the accident (even if in pain) for the love I have for my two treasures.

TI VOGLIO BENE

The literal translation of this post title is “I want good/well for you” that in some ways it corresponds to the “I love you” in English.
However the Italian correct translation of “I love you” is “ti amo” that’s simply ansolutely never used between men (if so you are it’s between fags/homosexuals) while the “ti voglio bene” is used between men, women, children of the same sex, parents to children (parents can say “ti amo” to their own children, though) and various relatives.
It’s also very common to use the “ti voglio bene” between husband and his wife, my parents always said so and I used to do the same.
Italians transition from “ti amo” at the beginning of their relationship to the “ti voglio bene” when married for some time.
This subtle difference is what I intend to teach soon to my treasures, I don’t want them to say “ti amo” to their Italian relatives when in Italy, it would be way too weird and inappropriate, I can imagine already my princess saying “ti amo” to her cousins while there, neither I can think to my hero-son saying to my sister (Anna) that he loves her.
Both cases would be too weird and out of place, therefore I want them to know this from my blog and from me directly.
My princess called by herself my mother (nonna) yesterday speaking Italian and she made my mother walk 3 feet from the floor for the rest of the day, they couldn’t talk directly to each other before, either myself, Brent or her mother would have to be present with the phone on the speaker and all that my princess could say was (yes, yes, yes) or “si, si, si”.
I think that since she knows now that I’ll take her with me to Verona, she wants to feel better in speaking in the language that’s in her genes, my mother tells me that when she was here because I was in coma, my princess could form phrases in Italian so complex that my mother was very impressed and still now she tells me that not even Italian children of that age express themselves in that way.
I believe that I dream to bring my princess to Italy at least as much as she’s been dreaming to be there herself, I’m sure that we both will have a great time there and I’ll be very proud to introduce my real princess to the rest of her family in Italy, first however I’ll have to teach to her the correct way to use the verb love in Italian.

THE RIPPLE EFFECT

Very recently my hero-son, next Lingiardi generation, when came back from a camping trip in NH told me that the most important thing he learned while there is that everything is connected and I’ve been thinking with much pride to his new understanding of human life.
In fact I recently received the movie entitled the “ripple effect” that explores the idea that events are interconnected, that every action causes a reaction. Like ripples in water they intersect and alter each other. What I found it to be most compelling is that everyone’s lives aren’t fixed; we alter them by intention – our own intention. Like ripples of behavior that intersect and change other’s people behavior, I think that I bought this movie mainly for its cast of actors, most of them Grammy winners who give to what they interpret a strong injection of credibility.
Like the MERU movie I hope to see it with my son, very much also because it’s a beautiful way to represent that we are truly all connected in this entire universe, we are in charge of the way our own life develops and that we can influence the lives of others.
I’m hoping that the Youtube trailer and the links can be reason to want to watch it.

MERU DOCUMENTARY

After having received this amazing documentary about a super-human climb of the mountain named MERU, I asked to my hero son (reincarnation of my dad) who had the idea to buy this documentary, because I wasn’t sure if it came from him or from my psychologist, who often gives me ideas about good movies to watch, it turns out that it was me who thought of it because of the fact that my son has this passion of rock climbing (again from my dad).
The part that impressed me the most is when one of the team of climbers gets hit by a snow avalanche while skiing down a vertical snow wall somewhere in Tibet, as a result his skull gets fracture on the top and two vertebrae’s in his neck brake while cutting one artery that brings blood to the brain, therefore leaving his brain without any blood for several minutes, once he arrives (by airplane)  to the hospital and receives urgent care all doctor say that he’ll never walk again (sounds familiar?) and will need constant care for the rest of his life"however he’s lucky not to have turned into a vegetable".
Well, this guy takes a first timid walk with the help of the star of this documentary - Conrad Anker – and starts to work as hard as humanly possible to get both his legs and arms back to the top condition they were and much to my amazement convinces both his wife and Conrad to be part of the new attempt to climb MERU.
I put here a couple of Youtube trailers with the strong advice  to watch this wonderful movie about the strength of human mind and how important is to be part of a team when going for the (inexistent) impossible.I’m going to watch it with my hero-son as much as I’ll go to Verona next summer with my princess Lingiardi walking

MY REVENGE

I put here the links to my previous posts about revenge

·
because – no matter how many people (priest and theologians) I still remain of the idea that – even if Jesus was our God creator as man – revenge was taken for his death by crucifixion such as:
·        the wall of the tears in Jerusalem
·        the crusades of centuries ago
·         the seemingly never-ending war in Palestine
·        Terrorism from that area
All seem to me like God has been taking revenge for Jesus (= for himself) being crucified, I know that’s written in the bible that God says that “revenge is mine” but I was thinking that once made into man, revenge wouldn’t be the same.
Therefore I can’t feel bad (or guilty) when my revenge (in the form of very expensive lawsuits) will soon be taken; no matter if I know already of the type of eternity those souls are going to have once their body will be left here.
However here are few links that support what I believe:

PHYSICAL vs. COGNITIVE DISAB.

For too long of a time I couldn’t understand the reason why my inability to walk made me obliged to be under conservatorship, after having made my usual research (see links below) I realized of the existence of a great confusion btw. Physical and cognitive disabilities, in the sense that while someone who’s forced to sit on a wheelchair (like me) isn’t necessarily someone who isn’t able to manage money, nor is unable to make logical choices among various options in any field.
I cannot believe that in this day and age there are still powerful and important people who when they see someone sitting on a wheelchair they think that it must be an idiot they look at (plenty examples here).
What’s ridiculous is that I was convinced that I still was very logical and clear in my thinking because of God’s intervention.
Well it isn’t, in fact I remember very well of a dinner with an important attorney who used to work for the company that had recently hired me, who was on a wheelchair, I had dinner with this man and when I went back to my family, I spoke of this (disabled) man for almost a full hour saying what a good professional he was before mentioning (almost as an afterthought) that he was on a wheelchair.

This is the very reason of this post, or that there are plenty others who – even if prisoners of a wheelchair – hold important jobs in high positions, so why am I considered as unable to manage money that I mostly earned in plenty years of work at very high levels and that comes from my family’s wealth? Am I too impaired cognitively to count to 10? Where’s the fairness here?
