UNPATRIOTIC MAURO BIGLINO

My “usual” friend Iacopo (the atheist philosopher) not only has been making very angry every catholic in Italy (about 53 million or Italians) but he has been pretty much pissing all over the (my) country for the simple reason that while few of his ideas (written in the bible themselves, he states) might even be correct do not take in any consideration the might of the Roman Empire that truly is the founder (or creator) of the catholic religion with its Vatican and all that’s connected to it, therefore let me have some relief to my anger for the way this Biglino is taking down yet another of the column that sustain my country with its history, culture and arts- aside from the fact that one of my best scuba diving partner (Guido) now wants to exchange emails with me in English only “ha, you know I’m working for an American company, so I use the English language on a daily basis……it’s easier for me to use English to communicate especially via email”.
What the heck! Where has the pride to be an Italian gone in these days? Shouldn’t we remember that not only we gifted the entire world with arts and their appreciation (think i.e. to Leonardo Da Vinci in the renaissance), the scientific methods/approach (think i.e. to Galileo Galilei) and very importantly the fact that the language (Latin) used during the Roman Empire is the root of plenty other languages still used today in the entire occidental world.
I am really upset to Biglino, Guido and every other Italian citizen both living in Italy and/or Italians around the world.
But let me now go through some of the “silly” beliefs of this (unpatriotic) Biglino and please consider that I don’t criticize this guy for what he says of the Catholic religion, nor his statements about Jesus Christ, meaning that what I’m going to say doesn’t come from a fervid Catholic member or strong believer in Jesus, in addition please forget the fact that I said to still be living here because of some agreement I had made with Jesus directly while in a 2 months long coma, as I had said here before, if I was a Buddhist, I’d have reported the same just replacing the name Jesus with Buddha, I’m pretty sure that I’m still alive mainly for the superlative physical conditions in which I was at that time and because “myself or something/one else” (which I called Jesus)  had my (almost already dead) brain reason it to be important not to leave my 2 treasures on their own (pretty much like they are now…….).
But let me go back to the main topic of this post about what professor Biglino claims it to be written 2.000 years ago in the bible.  In fact the basic supporting idea that we humans are the product of a “genetic experiment” done by extraterrestrial creatures is ludicrous, at least, in fact my own ideas (that many Catholics will probably reject like the ones of Biglino) on this matter, are as follows (in bullet points not to make any priority):
·         “Jesus was conceived and born from the eternal Virgin Mary”. OK, I ask to ALL the fathers of young girls in their teens how they would react IF their daughter one day would ever have the guts to come home saying that she’s pregnant and on top that it was because of an “an angel”, therefore trying to justify her pregnancy (best for me NOT to say what I’d be doing in such case……)
A couple of comments:
·         Anyone can easily read that the eternal Virgin Mary” had several other children (8 to 10) after Jesus….
·         How could be tested – 2.000 years ago in Palestine – that a woman is a virgin? That alone by itself should be considered a real miracle, 2K years ago in a country populated by shepherds who – at most – would fuck sheep’s in odd places or wear their scarfs in different colors or orientations….
Finally let me say that the entire Christian religion is just the “creation” of the – already mentioned – Roman Empire when it realized that by having every country part of the empire embrace Christianity, all attempts to re-conquer independence was dramatically reduced (give the other cheek”), therefore saving to the Empire very many lives of (very expensive to train warriors) and very much money (about as important in those times as today).
