EINSTEIN – GOD & QUANTUM MECHANICS

One of Albert Einstein's most famous quotes is, "God does not play dice with the universe.”... People have wrongly assumed that Einstein was religious, believed in destiny, or that he completely rejected a core theory in physics. First, Einstein wasn't referring to a personal god in the quote. He was using "God" as a metaphor. In my personal opinion Einstein mentioned God simply because he was Jew, so his education since he was a little kid was about the existence of a God creator BUT he made it very clear not to believe what all other religions believe, or that God is always watching and protecting us and since he knows the future he protects us from the bad, unless using our free will we individually decide to do what’s bad/wrong which in the end condemns us to eternal hell.
I find it kind of funny that the most brilliant scientist ever existed couldn’t come to terms with what quantum mechanics was beginning to show, as a matter of fact, I too am thunderstruck by what I’m learning this “new science” is telling and scientifically proving lately to us – the normal people (look at few of my previous posts here). I’d say that Einstein made this reference to God playing dice very much because he couldn’t see how his now his theory of relativity could coexist with quantum theory (mechanics?).
What I find very interesting though is the belief in God that Einstein had, go to few of the websites linked here and watch the Youtubes too, in fact they all explain the type of God Einstein had in mind or that his God isn’t the “personal” one that is normally referred to, or the one that Einstein named the “personal God”…..the one who answers to what you ask for in your prayers, brings Christmas gifts and looks over your health, I guess that Einstein’s God (mine too) was more of a “super-entity” that created our wonderful universe with all of its scientific laws, much less “personal” than the one we (Catholic/Christians) believe in.
