Early in my
life I decided that the world is divided in people between losers (i.e. all conservators and their attorneys
including their attorneys +
judges who are punished being forced to deal with conservatorship judgements. This
includes my wife Michele and her father too who was a real BIG loser) and winners (me - after TBI too - my
dad, my true sister in Italy and my two treasures, who both are 100% genetically
imprinted with my
genes).
To be a
winner is surely not the result of the genes that make you one, but it’s very
much influenced by life experiences, studies and sports practiced.
However,
what truly makes you a winner is when you can use your brain depending on what
you are doing now or plan to do in the future (you decide what you’ll do sometime in the future).
Aside from
myself and my own sister in Italy, I put in this group of winners (who can use a fraction
of a percentage more of their brain capacity) my Ventura sista, who sadly is convinced that all
good that happens to her is the result of her incessant praying to some holy
spirit for what she wants, this case is identical to the one of my mother who
prays 24/7 since the day I had the accident that practically killed me. Given
my dear mother’s age (82 y/o)
there’s no way that her brain can make any miracle like she did in her 20ies,
but there’s no point in talking her to stop praying because doing so relaxes
her very much. Tomorrow is my angel's 15th birthday and I'm planning to make her at least as happy as she always makes me.
