Yet another movie worth more beers than I can count, however
it's a movie best enjoyed alone (as I've
been for more years I can count). In this movie in fact Steven Spielberg gives
a great cinematographic rendition of what my beloved sci-fi author Arthur
Clarke writes about the origin of mankind on earth and given that I'm a pure
and convinced (because based on facts)
creationist while the adored mother of my treasures remains a very strong
evolutionist, I believe that this movie gives a simple explanation about the
way both concepts can go together very well, in fact we man derive from real
monkeys who did come in contact with our creator that in this movie is
represented by a black monolith that appears one day to our precursors - the
monkeys - millions of years ago and gives to them the capacity to utilize bones
of dead animals as tools to hunt and kill other animals, therefore giving the
necessary confidence and strength to
walk down the path of our evolution.
As a former passionate of sci-fi readings (Isaac Asimov being my most preferred, I
believe to still own all he ever wrote) I cannot be completely fascinated
by this movie and what it means today too, given that we see creationists arguing
with evolutionists about nothing (I hope
to have demonstrated already that God's existence is simply proven by universal
gravity laws). Anyway please enjoy my video and links that I put here to
show that I'm not the idiot that that eternally damned in Oxnard dared to say of me.
