My caregiver in Ventura was very close to me and - aside
talking religion all day long - helped me to accomplish several very important
goals, however I've been calling her here "Catholic extremist"
because she's been attending Mass each and every day at 4 am while checking her
emails on her laptop (always open and on while attending Mass), among
the plenty teachings she gave to me to me there's one about the use of the
word: goddamn
that I thought it to be very normal, given that it's enunciated by actors in
several movies plenty times as a normal expression of disappointment or anger
for something not being right, I learned from her that saying goddamn is basically like saying a "bestemmia"
in Italian that's punished by law with a monetary fine, if said when a policemen
or "carabiniere" can hear you.
Well, I guess that if this word would be outlawed here in
the USA
too, our finances wouldn't be bad at all, in fact I can't even count the times
I hear it being said both in movies and talk-shows, by important people that
truly stand for something good in this country.
To end this post I just need to say that I wish that ma
sista could start to exchange emails with me again because now she's joined my
dear ex-wife and loving mother of my treasures and she'll be in hell forever (unless she changes
her mind), God always forgives us, no matter what and I'm absolutely
sure that if someone swears at Him, nothing happens to the soul.
