After having researched for about 12 months someone both
willing and able to administer to me the perispinal Enbrel medication for my
neurological and physical recovery from the 2005 TBI.
To my own amazement after the immense disappointment of
having probably, forever lost M. Donahue who had become both my hero, friend and
teacher about how to perform this rather simple and safe procedure, almost by
accident I found the rheumatologist who not only knows very
well all that involves this procedure but used to teach to Tobinick
spinal injections typical of what hematologists must know how to safely give.
However much to my immeasurable frustration and
disappointment I was told to simply go to have this life-changing procedure done
by Tobinick in LA.
Sadly my obstacles to do this are as follows:
- I had made already this appointment to receive this treatment from Tobinick 3 times but my former wife Michele thought it best to cancel each and everyone of them with the full agreement of my sister Anna.
- Even if somehow I could be accepted to have it done by Tobinick, I’d have to travel for more than one hour to get to his office/facility, while this one is literally around the corner of where I'm imprisoned
The reasons for the refusal to have this treatment are simply ludicrous because I could loan the money needed to
buy the extension of the patent that fully protects the inventor of this
procedure and given that I had posted here already last year (9/28/2013 post) of the
personal and monetary success of the two “icebreakers” (Dr. Best and Saver), all
I must think is that I can truly see the reason why I became a businessman with
interest in making money (for me/my family and the company that employed me), rather than
becoming a guess-science specialist, as plenty in my family are now and were.
Given that I put here in the past of the impossibility of
this procedure to be FDA approved any time soon (Big Pharma post) and that I was told that the Big Pharma (5/18/2014 post) itself is completely driven by the medical
insurance companies, I see that – like all else – it’s money that has all the
power to make any change, like it’s what drove every single war ever
fought in this world since its very beginning of time.
Either President Obama or Bill Gates steps forward in the
solution of this new epidemic, or I’m going to die with Alzheimer sitting on a
wheelchair.
Thank you Anna and Michele for making my funeral the one
needed to have medical progress!
