MORE ON FEAR OF DEATH

On July 10th last year I wrote a post about the fear of death that we ALL have

(Including the animals and insects) I did nevertheless receive few comments about what I had stated in it, that more than comments sounded very much like this question: If afterlife is as great as you and the quantum people say it is, why are we all living here? To me it took some time to figure out the right answer, in fact I initially thought that our fear of death was given to us by our God creator in order to have us populate our planet earth (1), then I imagined that all the popularity of the quantum physics research and discoveries about the real existence of afterlife were more simply what our government was driving to lower both anger and pain of the families and friends of all the people dying in the Far East fighting stupid wars (2).
However in thinking longer and harder PLUS in discussing this with people with bigger experience and deeper preparation, I learned that fear of death is the more “simple” result of science and religions
Science teaches that we don't survive death (a)
Religions teach that we may face hellfire and eternal punishment (b).
IF I believed either of these erroneous teachings, I’d be afraid to die too.
So, why am I not afraid at all to die now? Certainly not because I’ll be with Jesus again – this was just the result of my Catholic education since very young (Iacopo is right, here).
What makes me actually totally fearless of my own death is the total certainty that there does exist life after death, that – as I’ve been posting here (maybe too much) – is the simple projection of what’s in our consciousness, that’s formed by the way we conducted our lives!
