Happy new year to you all, BUT here’s
another “pearl” I had to find in my never-ending browsing the internet, in fact
it seems that this med., called INOSINE was specifically developed and used to
address the fine motor control of the hand, in other words it was found that inosine,
a naturally occurring purine nucleoside that is released by cells in response
to metabolic stress, can help to restore motor control after brain injury. W.T.F.!!! How come I never heard of this, even as a
side-comment from any of my (plenty) MD’s
and neurologists?
I believe
to have made it super-clear not only that I’m NOT an MD, but that I profoundly despise
a “science” where 2+2 isn’t 4 but depending whom you ask or what time of
the day OR the geographical location the total of this simple sum can be any
number from 5 to 5,555 or 777 BUT if you fart as
you are questioned, the total of the summed number can depend on what you had for dinner
last night i.e. Mexican beans or steamed artichokes!
What can I
say??? Can’t wait to see my current neurologist (after having seen too many to count) to ask about what I consider an
internet revelation, I’m really curious to hear what’s the reason that may
explain why I was NEVER even suggested this therapy, BUT who knows? Maybe it’s
because my teeth are too white, or because my tone of voice isn’t in tune with
the sounds of bullshit that can always be heard in any doctor’s office.
I do
realize to maybe be too ignorant in medicine to be taking for good something I
found in the internet, but from what I did read (some links below) knowing too well that my brain is/was injured
primarily in the motor cortex area, I can only ask to myself (who else?) why I never heard of this Inosine,
that together with the fact that it seems to address my principal disability
from TBI, it could have given to me the ability to travel again, therefore get
back to work. Forget about how much money my disability has been costing me
this far AND the tremendous pain for my two treasures and their mother for not
having me around anymore for about 10 years, knowing that everyone pays their
bills after their death isn’t sufficient reason for me not to go after for very much money the ones
who never told me of this .
