Oh boy! There
are millions of websites in the internet that come out by putting this (Latin) name in a google search, therefore
please trust me that the websites I link below are truly a very good and small
group of the best ones (watch the Youtube video in the first one named got questions).
As a matter
of fact I used to believe that the term “imago dei”, expressed in the bible as “image
and likeness” meant not only that we look just like Jesus looked like (image) but that we have the same, or very
similar powers of god (likeness)
which well explains the reason why I’ve been talking very much of us being like
god (or
– by having the soul – we have our own – personal - god in us).
As I’ve
suggested already, simply watch the n.1 video in my linked websites to
understand that my understanding isn’t too accurate.
However
what this video says pretty clearly that to follow the teachings and to
faithfully believe in what Jesus did, said and represented is a good walk
towards salvation ad about this I want to better explain that whenever we “hate”
someone else and wish for something bad to happen to the subject (of our hate), when the bad really happens (at times very similar
to our own wishes) the
one who made that bad happen to the “hated” one is the “personal god” of the criminal (that Einstein said not
to believe in its existence), NOT YOU.
In fact
most of the times the bad we may wish for someone else, is based on our
knowledge of what’s dear to that person, therefore it’s somehow simple to do.
I.e. think
of someone in love to death for his new Ferrari car, what would happen if it gets
stolen and it gets crashed? Well to wish that this could be what could happen to
that person is kind of easy to do, same for having a beautiful and very beloved
wife, what can happen if another man fucks her? ☺
In both
cases it isn’t surely you that make the destruction of the car or the personal
life destruction for the fucker to happen; it’s rather going to be the “personal god”
of the thief and the fucker who’ll take care of the “forgiveness” of those “bad sins” with the purpose of eternal salvation.
As you read we truly are made on God’s likeness, which only works on ourselves
