This 2009
science fiction thriller film that was directed by Alex Proyas and starred
Nicolas Cage is one of the good movies I’ve been watching lately and – as always
– I’m going to talk about it in this post here.
Some say
that they were freaked out by it, as for me I was fascinated instead, thinking
that someone could predict 50 years in advance facts, tragedies with the exact number
of casualties immensely attracts my attention and truly fascinates me,
especially because I know that it’s completely possible, maybe not from a young
girl who makes a paper about the way she imagines how the world will be in 50
years, neither some visionary or predictor of what will come going forward, but
this new quantum research with the possibility that we live just in one of the
possible plenty universes cannot stop my
mind from flying all over, so this movie about knowing the future found a very
fertile ground to grow inside of me.
I believe
in fact to have watched it 4 times already and each time I love the actor N. Cage
more than the time before.
His facial
expressions, tone of his voice and way of moving his body around in the
different scenes are simply perfect, I can’t think of a better actor than Cage
in this movie.
As a matter
of fact I’m now making a research about all the movies he acted in, that turns
out were all successful, meaning that I’m not alone in liking him as a good
actor, I guess that to have him in a movie mustn’t come easy or inexpensive,
his name must guarantee a minimum amount of $dollar sales.
Once again
I recommend this movie to be watched in company with your very good friends BUT
NOT with hard alcohol, some beer is good enough, you don’t want anyone unable
to walk, talk, drive and think after having enjoyed such a good movie……that
makes you think at many different future scenarios that may become reality
going forward.
